I'll try to be brief but it'll make less sense.

Joined
I joined Incarna Mortis [IM] with Ruta in Affliction spec. Over the summer IM struggled to get 25 mans going and I was a regular in the raid. They operate a loot / raid slot prioity system Initiate > Member > Raider. I got to raider after the normal initiacy period. As people returned from breaks and raids filled out I was struggling to get picked for raids, but I was not making the move to Raider.
Progression Raiding
I could often get on Thursday Ulduar progression runs. I never got on Wednesday opener runs I wondered, perhaps unfairly, if this could be because on Wednesday Flame Leviathan, XT, Razorscale, Ignis and Kolgarn went down easy for phat lewts and rounding up 25 Raiders was easier? On Thursdays Ruta would get to attend the guild raid and pick up at Iron Council and the wipefests at Auriaya, Hodir, Freya and Thorim. I was there the first time IM downed Hodir and for all the plearning runs on Thorim and Freya, ofc there was no loot and if a freak drop of cloth occured I was outrolled by a Raider.
Re-specc'ed
After Hodir was downed by Ruta et al, Thorim and Freya became more do-able and 25 Raiders were more regularly raised. I went to the Guild Leader and asked why I hadn't advanced to Raider status: getting a meaningful roll on any gear; getting raider prio for raid places; getting repairs met for wipefests in progression raiding.
    Varden wrote:
You are everything we look for in a raider, we have been discussing your promotion, it's just...your DPS is a little low.
In the following three raids Ruta tried to maximse DPS. Out DPS-ing the Raid Leader is hardly a success, but out DPS-ing another warlock Anecdotte (Raiders) must be significant and keeping up (if a few K Damage done) behind Deathcondor (Warlock Class Leader) must be significant with his Ulduar gear and higher DPS output. After stating I had hit the evelope of possible damage for Affliction I asked if DPS was high enough to be promoted. No. So I respecced to Demo/Destro Hybrid; modelled exactly on high DPS-er Kirgenw's (now of MInc) spec. Kiru taught me the rotation and how to maximise DPS across a boss fight and gave up over an hour to work UC target dummies to practice the rotation. Ta matey.
Raiding stopped
Then the raid picks stopped. I couldn't get a raid slot because raider prio put raiders before me in the queue for places, I couldn't get to be a raider as I could demonstrate that my DPS was better and acceptable in a raid. Catch-22. Varden assured me there was nothing else, nothing 'personal' going on. It was simply Raider prio: raider being picked ahead of members, some iniates were raiding because of the healer shortage and some raiders (and members) had to be left out because of it. I spoke to the Warlock Cleass Leader (again)
    Deathcondor wrote:
I may have to use my 'Class Leader card' to get you a raid slot.
So the Guild Leader and Warlock Class Leader had both reiterated that the only issue preventing me from raiding was my Member status: Raiders having prio and 25 raiders (with x number of member/initiate healers) signing, lead to this sidelining. Nothing else.
Posted on IM Forum
After three weeks of being ignored outside Ulduar other member were asking me why I kept being passed over. I had signed for every raid and turned up, at least fiften minutes before start time, fixed and ready, with [Fish Feast] and [Flask of the Frost Wyrm]. I posted on the forum stating, without drama or resentment, whether this was, despite being absolutely consistent with the Guild Rules, entirely fair. I asked whether a Raider would consider dropping out just for me so I could show off my new spec and DPS output.
Lipz was the only officer to respond to the IM Forum post stating (paraphrased, but only a little):
    Lipz wrote:
you can never raid with us again your dps is awful. you cannot control your pet and it keeps getting us wiped. you do not know your class and will not listen to advice. this is nothing personal. You demonstrated in Naxxramas why we can never have you as a raider. [My emphasis]
I joined a rading guild to raid and being told I could not raid under any circumstamces I gracefully withdrew. My responce to Lipz was simply that "This flies in the face of all the [Guild Leader] and [Warlock Class Leader] have told me." No officer from Incarna Mortis has deigned to speak to me since I left. I have decide to respond shortly to Lipz criticisms about Naxxramas.

* "...your dps is awful.
Impossible to know. If I'd got a Naxx run in Demo/Destro spec we could've assessed that. As that never happened no one is in a position to comment on my DPS.

* "you cannot control your pet and it keeps getting us wiped."
In Guild organised Ulduar and Naxx runs I never pet pulled or caused a raid wipe. In Demo/Destro spec Ruta was never officially raid tested.

* "You do not know your class and will not listen to advice."
I posted on the forum about my low DPS and tried everything that was suggested. I do not claim to know my class completely: Affliction was clearly low DPS that patch and I may not have been getting as much out as I could. So, I respecced to Demo/Destro which has no raid utility but maximum personal DPS (that patch) on the advice of my Guild Leader.

* "You demonstrated in Naxxramas why we can never have you as a raider."
As Master Looter, Raid Leader or drunken raider having fun with mates? Raid Performance? Despite having significantly poorer gear than the Lipz' Uduar epics, I out DPSed EVERYONE for most of the run. At Heigan, I died and had to watch as Lipz overhauled me on the DPS metre. I finished SECOND on Damage Done overall, according to Recount, without the advantage of Ulduar gear and high level pots (it being a fun run).

My Naxx run was for fun, so yeah I was pissed on Vent and we had a fantastic time the night before and YES you did spoil our second run and actually we did not clear as quickly!
